Did You Know #4: Cancellation Policy

Did you know that the IELTS cancellation/refund policy requires you give 5 weeks‘ notice if you need to cancel or change your test date?

Many people skip over the Terms & Conditions without reading them carefully (or at all), and this is an important point.

There are exceptions for illness, injury, etc (emergencies), but to qualify for a refund you must submit documented proof (such as a note from a doctor) of illness, injury, or other circumstances that prevent you from testing as scheduled.

If you need to transfer dates or cancel with less than 5 weeks to go before your test please download and fill out the Request for Refund or Test Date Transfer form.
